Student United Way is an internationally recognized Student United Way.

They are a group of 24 service-driven students from Chelan & Douglas County High Schools, who create and implement projects that help better their communities.

The Student Opportunities Fund is designed to enhance the high school educational experience through student participation in activites and academics, regardless of ability to pay. Investments for the purpose of student participation in activites and academics are made in the form of mini-grants and InvestED matched contributions to local high schools.

Mini-grants are available for items that facilitate educational participation such as shoes, cap & gown, glasses, sports equipment, athletic fees, academic needs, club dues, ASB fees and much more! A short application is required and can be completed through the counseling offices.

Mini-grants have a $100 per need cap and are available to Wenatchee and Eastmont High School students, though we hope to be able to expand to all Chelan & Douglas County High Schools, through the Council's fundraising efforts.

The Student United Way store is one of several fundraisers put on each year by the Student United Way to support their Student Opportunities Fund. Be sure to pay them a visit and show them your support!
